Nomination Period Open for 2021 Sport's Ambassador

The City of Nelson is currently inviting applications and nominations for the position of Nelson's 2021 Sports Ambassador.  The Sports Ambassador will be selected by Council and announced at the City of Nelson's Annual Reception on December 14, 2020. The 2021 Sports Ambassador will receive a $1,000 honorarium.  
The Sports Ambassador designation will be awarded to an individual athlete, group, team or other individual who has/have achieved a high standard of excellence in their athletic pursuits, and who will represent Nelson’s sports and recreational community.  
The deadline to submit an application or nomination is October 30, 2020.  Click here for more information and applications.
